Abstract
|
|
|
Thrombotic occlusion of superior mesenteric vein is one of very rare surgical disease. When it is developed, the disasterous symptoms are sudden and critical.
This paper reports one case of thrombotic occlusion of superior mesenteric vein in 50 year old patient who has past history of anterior myocardial ischimia and acute pancreatitis.
The strangulated distal jejunum and ileum, about 2.5 Cm, was resected and postoperactive was uneventful. Authors also review of referrences.
